1. Scope and controller
PDF God is a PDF reading and note application published by
CB Studio. This policy covers information
handled by the app and support requests sent to
dio071512@gmail.com. It does
not replace the separate policies of Google, Firebase, AdMob,
RevenueCat, or other services you choose to use. Network traffic uses
HTTPS / TLS where
the platform and provider support it, and the app requests
least privilege scopes for optional services.
2. Information handled on your device
PDF God may keep a local library index, document paths and metadata,
thumbnails, reading progress, annotations, handwriting geometry, tags,
favorite marks, workspace state, app settings, consent choices, feature
counters, and diagnostic state needed to operate the app.
You choose which PDFs the app can access. Original files and
imported, unlocked, or exported local copies remain in the storage
locations you select and are user-controlled. The app may create
app-managed or temporary copies when a feature requires them, such as
importing an external file or saving an unlocked copy. Do not email
sensitive PDF contents, passwords, or secret keys to support.
3. Optional Google Drive sync
Google Drive sync is opt-in. It starts only
after you turn on the connection, sign in to Google, and authorize
the Drive application-data scope. PDF God uses the hidden private
appDataFolder for sync data such as filename
and path metadata, reading progress, highlight and note records,
favorite marks, handwriting geometry, tags, and related sync records.
PDF God is designed to sync these records, not the original PDF file
content, under a least privilege Drive scope.
Google processes sign-in, authorization, identifiers, network data,
and the stored app data under its policies and third-party retention
rules. You can disconnect Drive in the app. You can also manage hidden
app data through Google Drive. Learn about the
Google Drive appDataFolder.
4. Firebase AI and Google Gemini
AI features require a user action and an in-app consent step. When
you use one, PDF text extracted for that action, selected text,
questions, prompts, and related context are sent through
Firebase AI to a
Google Gemini model under Google's
paid services terms. Submitted content is
not used to improve or train Google products.
Google may process and retain content for a limited period for
abuse detection, security, and legal
obligations. The response returns to the app. PDF God may keep your
consent choice and local usage counters on the device. You can revoke
AI consent later in Settings → Sync settings.
Review
Firebase AI Logic,
Firebase privacy information,
and the
Google Privacy Policy
before sending sensitive material.
5. Firebase App Check and integrity
PDF God uses Firebase App Check with
Play Integrity on Android to help confirm
that AI and other protected calls come from a genuine app instance.
App Check relies on Firebase Installations
(including a Firebase installation ID / FID) and short-lived
App Check token values. Tokens are used to
attest requests, not to build advertising profiles. Retention and
deletion of installation identifiers and tokens follow Firebase and
Google platform limits; uninstalling the app or clearing app data
removes local copies, while provider-side retention remains subject to
Google's service terms.
6. AdMob advertising
Eligible free users may be shown banner, interstitial, or rewarded
ads delivered by AdMob. Ad requests and ad
interactions may involve IP address, advertising or app identifiers,
device and app information, approximate location inferred from
network data, consent signals, diagnostics, impressions, and clicks.
Whether ads are personalized depends on region, device settings,
consent, and Google's controls.
To review or change advertising consent where required, open
Settings →
Sync settings →
Ad privacy options, which reopens the Google
UMP privacy options form when available for
your region. Google describes advertising identifiers and controls in
AdMob privacy guidance.
7. RevenueCat and Google Play purchases
Paid plans and in-app purchases are offered through
Google Play. PDF God uses
RevenueCat to retrieve offerings, complete
the purchase flow, restore purchases, and determine subscription or
entitlement status. These services may process product, price,
currency, transaction and subscription identifiers, purchase status,
app user or installation identifiers, country or store information,
and technical diagnostics. PDF God does not receive your full payment
card number from Google Play.
Support requests about purchases may include the minimum identifiers
needed to locate a transaction. Payment and transaction records may
remain with Google Play, RevenueCat, payment systems, and CB Studio
as required for billing, entitlement restoration, tax, accounting,
security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and law. A support
request does not guarantee automatic deletion of those platform
records. Purchase records are also governed by the
Google Privacy Policy
and the
RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
8. Public website and hosting logs
The public legal pages are served by Firebase Hosting. Standard
hosting access log data (such as IP address, user agent, request path,
and timestamps) may be processed by Google to operate, secure, and
troubleshoot the site under Google's retention limits. This static
site does not run an analytics or advertising SDK in the browser.
9. Retention and disclosure
- Local app data remains until you remove it, use an available in-app deletion control, or the operating system removes it.
- Drive app data remains under the connected Google account until it is replaced or removed through an authorized deletion path or Google Drive controls.
- AI content may be retained by Google for a limited period for abuse detection, security, and legal obligations under paid services terms.
- Google, AdMob, Google Play, Firebase, and RevenueCat apply their own retention, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, and legal requirements.
- Support correspondence and request evidence may be kept only as long as needed to answer the request, prevent abuse, meet legal duties, or establish that a request was handled.
Information may be disclosed to service providers named above, when
you direct the app to use them, or when required to protect users,
enforce rights, prevent fraud, or comply with law.
10. Your choices and requests
- Decline an AI request, revoke AI consent in Settings → Sync settings, or avoid entering sensitive text.
- Leave Google Drive disconnected, disconnect it later, or manage the app's hidden Drive data.
- Open Settings → Sync settings → Ad privacy options to reopen the UMP form when available.
- Manage subscriptions and payment methods in Google Play.
- Open the Delete PDF God data page for deletion steps and retained boundaries.
For access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions, contact
dio071512@gmail.com. Do not
email passwords, secret keys, payment card details, or PDF contents.
11. Changes
This policy may be updated when the app, providers, or legal
requirements change. A revised date will be posted on this page.
